Born in Austria in 1887, came to the USA as a teenager, met and married Caroline in 1908. They lived at 6862 Parkwood, Detroit, Michigan for more than 40 years. They raised seven daughters and one son (died at age 5). Their parish was Our Lady Queen of Angels. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn on the assembly line. They moved to Los Angeles, California approx. 1950.
