Certified MLEOTC/MCOLES Police Firearms Instructor, certified Glock Armorer and spent 20 years as a 43rd district court probation officer.

He was discharged from USMC in 1963 as a lance corporal with 5 years, was on the plane for the bay of pigs when Kennedy called them back, and pulled a hitch in Okinawa. He lived and breathed pheasant hunting, exceptional wingshot, (actually ANY gun) and accomplished dog handler/trainer with a natural ability to train any dog to hunt game, specifically pheasants. Avid snowmobiler and overall outdoorsman. Like his Grandfather, he has a knack for carpentry and does good aluminum siding work.
